The Business Solutions Division offers exciting, executive sales careers for experienced-hired candidates. We are currently considering candidates for the following opening:

Territory Development Manager

In this rewarding professional sales role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing an existing base of accounts, typically between $1.2 to $2 million in revenue. Duties to include, but are not limited to:

-Networking and acquiring prospective clients and leads, based on customer profile in volume, size and service requirements, to arrange meeting times to present Office Depot as a potential business solutions vendor
-Developing relationships with non-Office Depot corporate customers
-Presenting solutions that relate directly to key needs and business issues of target accounts
-Oversee the implementation process for new accounts and eliminate obstacles to buying early and often in the relationship cycle
-Developing a professional business relationship with corporate customers once the decision has been made to use Office Depot as an office supply & business solutions vendor
-Engaging in sales activities including creating relationships with decision makers and directing account sales strategy
-Involvement in requests for proposals and re-bidding existing contracts
-Preparing strategic business plans and sales presentations

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a min. of 3 years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in an outside sales role. Applicants must have a working knowledge of the commercial customer relationship process, professional selling skills, excellent oral, written and presentation skills and the ability to quickly learn, understand and navigate an organization. A bachelors degree in business or a related field is preferred. Related industry experience (office supplies, document management solutions, office technology, etc.) is a plus.
