Profile description
As a Senior SharePoint Solutions Architect with the EMS team you will have the opportunity to grow the Microsoft SharePoint Practice through demonstrating leadership, superior SharePoint expertise and solution crafting skills for our customers across different verticals.

As an expert on MOSS 2010 architecture with solid design experience around Web Applications, Site Collections, Sites, Sub-Sites, Web Parts, your experience will allow you to execute high quality implementations around projects including SharePoint migrations, SharePoint/MOSS development including scorecard development, dashboard design and web part development.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for architecting, installing, optimizing and supporting Microsoft SharePoint deployments including distributed farm environments using an n-tier architecture. You will also coordinate knowledge transfer from development partners to in house development team, and mentor and lead junior staff members.

SharePoint Solutions architects at Sogeti USA coordinate with other enterprise architects and coach team members to develop innovative practices around issues of system integration, design and compatibility. Being part of Sogeti USA’s EMS practice also allows you to work closely with various clients at executive management levels where you will provide thought leadership and grow as their trusted advisor. You will have the opportunity to be part of key pursuits dealing with our enterprise clients where you craft high ROI generating solutions.

A SharePoint Solutions architects at Sogeti demonstrates outstanding level of understanding of SharePoint architectural considerations and best practices for high-availability, clustering and disaster recovery. Required Skills
* Extensive professional experience in a SharePoint Architectural role with a solid understanding of SharePoint architecture(s)
* 6 years of relevant hands-on experience with SharePoint portal design, architecture and Farms (Shared Services, Integration, etc.)
* Extensive experience with Forms Library, custom content types and alerts using SharePoint Designer
* Experience with Shared Services and SharePoint integration a must.
* Active Directory authentication, Search and integration with other Microsoft products including Exchange, Project Server, Outlook, etc
* Ability to perform basic SQL Server administration including database creation, backup and cloning
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
* Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and web services
* Experience with Agile Development Practices
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project needs, and work under tight deadlines
* Team player and excellent communication skills
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
