Senior Software Automation Application Tester

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Application Tester to support our client in St. Louis, MO.

This is a 12 month contract position with possible extension.

Essential Job Function:



The successful candidate will be a member of a team that tests enterprise-level JAVA, .Net and Oracle applications. Candidates with a background in Science are highly desired for this position.



Each team is comnprised of a project manager, business analyst, software developers and testers. These teams design, develop and test enterprise-class R&D software. The individual will be responsible for performing integration and system testing for each iteration of the development life cycle. The individual will need to implement test scripts based on requirements created by the Business Analysts. The tester is responsible for logging the defects during the testing.



Essential Skills:



Full understanding of the software development life cycle.



Minimum of 5 years as a tester in an IT testing organization.



Must have solid SQL skills.



Must have strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills and problem solving skills.



Expereience or familiarity with Worksoft Certify tool.



Work and/or educational experience in an agricultural, biotechnology, or life sciences industry would be a plus.

Education / Certifications:



BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Candidates must pass a background check and skills assessment.

US Citizenship or a Green Card is required.

Local candidates are preferred, but relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
