Senior Manager Financial Reporting
We have an exciting opportunity with a top St. Louis company. Main Duties:* Prepare all external reporting documents including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, debt covenant reports, and other required external reporting information/reports* Perform the research of GAAP and SEC issues, and prepare recommendations of accounting treatments and disclosures* Coordinate materials for external annual audit, quarterly reviews and internal audits* Support M&A activity and other special projects by providing technical accounting thought leadershipKnowledge/Skill Requirements:* Ability to excel with limited direction/supervision* Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, both accounting theory and practices* Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, ability to succinctly explain technical accounting matters to non-financial and/or line business people, and communicate effectively with Senior Financial Management* Five years or more of progressive experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting roles
