ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES *Investigates and reports on returned complaint product .Coordinates flow of QA product through the St. Louis facility including internal investigation, complaint product repair, and inventory .Coordinates shipping of complaint product to OEM .Coordinates replacement of new and repaired product to customer .Records complaint information in database. Secondary contact after Quality Assurance Coordinator .Conducts in-stock inspections based on complaint reporting and other potential quality issues .Coordinates water testing process .Issues product Certification for OEM customer orders .Maintains Document Control files .Reports activities to the Quality Assurance Manager in a monthly report .Understands and complies with ISO 13485 as well as FDA 21 CFR Part 820 .Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in the Quality Manual. .Must embody the Company's Vision, Mission and Values. .Other duties as assigned. QUALIFCATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. .Must be detail orientated, problem-solver with strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills .Must follow strict FDA guidelines .Minimum one year experience in a medical device setting .Requires excellent computer skills (Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, and SAP) .Required to be able to work with minimal supervision on daily tasks
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: *AA or equivalent required. Scientific or engineering education preferred. .Requires good working knowledge and experience with a document control system .Full understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) preferred
