Office Manager– Executive
Summary:  This is a full time position that provides administrative support to the Vice President, Director of Operations, and Director of Business Development of National Elevator Inspection Services (NEIS). This position will also be responsible for managing the main office operations support functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel and company activities for all members of the Management Team.
Organize and prioritize large volumes of information.
Sort mail for the Management Team and determine level of priority.
Assist Management Team in the management of their schedules.
Handle confidential and non-routine information.
Work independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects. 
Act as a project manager for special projects, at the request of the Management Team, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information and organizing company wide events.
Type and design general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.
Supervise the activities of the office staff, including work assignments, project assignments and tracking, pto, employee relations issues. May need to resolve customer relations issues, work scheduling and billing and invoicing discrepancies.
 Perform Human Resources support in completion of assigned compliance requirements and documentation.
Required Skills

Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.  Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Deltek is a plus.
Must be process oriented and able to analyze bottlenecks and provide solutions to increase efficiency where appropriate.
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. 
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
 
 
Required Experience

BA Degree  or equivalent experience with at least five years experience in a related position.  Able to demonstrate through past work history, success in managing people and projects.
Experience in the construction, elevator or building industry may be helpful but not required.
