A successful candidate must have the skill and formal training to become certified to NAS410
Level 2 for Ultrasonic, Radiographic and Eddy Current Inspection. Hands on experience is preferred. The candidate should possess the ability to learn and apply job practices and techniques to the nondestructive evaluation process (Ultrasonic, X-ray, Eddy Current, etc.). The candidate should possess the ability to learn to interpret results against published standards. Candidate should be capable of learning the to interpret policies, practices processes and procedures, (i.e. ISO resources including documentation) as they apply to technical documentation to ensure quality of products. Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards. Assists in the documentation of procedures for setting up test equipment. Performs routine tests or inspections and collects data. Analyzes routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity. Assists with standard corrective action recommendations. Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results. Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.

Basic - General knowledge of Eddy Current NDT on aircraft and related components such as bolt holes, corrosion/thickness, surface/sub-surface and conductivity.

• NDT Radiography
Basic - General knowledge of Radiography NDT techniques on aircraft and related components such as welds, castings, composite and metal structures, foreign object detection and electronic components. Xray film, computed and digital radiography are the typical tools used to perform these inspections.

• NDT Ultrasonic

Typical Education/Experience
Level 2 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 3 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
An ability to obtain an interim and/or final clearance (post-start) is required for this position - US Citizenship Required or equivalent (Refer to Security Clearance Definitions link above). Requires successful completion of a company sponsored, on-hours training program.
