Local Sales Manager- Radio
KMOX-AM, home of St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and St. Louis Blues Hockey, is looking for a Local Sales Manager.
-Recruit, lead and train sales staff. Develop comprehensive on-going sales training for all levels (e.g. veterans, new hires) of sales staff. -Overall responsibility for development of rate structure, inventory and control in conjunction with General Sales Manager and Director of Sales. -Develop sales packages, sale brochures and collateral material including facilitating of implementation with appropriate department heads. -Maintain and review local account strategies and account lists. Maintain current and accurate account receivables. -Schedule and coordinate semi-annual account reviews. -Accountable for local sales budget. -Organize client functions and sales awards functions. -Responsible for directing, supervising (including educating) and creating job descriptions for sales assistants and support systems. -Develop comprehensive sales plan for new business development, NTR, direct, agency and sales contest. -Other duties may be assigned by the General Sales Manager and/or Director of Sales.
