ATS has an immediate opening for a Corporate Tax Manager at our headquarters in Peoria, Illinois. We will provide relocation for this position.
This individual will be responsible for managing the tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance function, and completion of accurate tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of the organization.
Responsibilities will include: * Calculating and preparing quarterly estimated tax payments for assigned companies * Assisting in research and documenting federal, state and local tax issues (includes all areas of taxation including income taxes, payroll taxes, sales/use taxes and other applicable local taxes) * Assisting in identifying, documenting, and implementing tax saving opportunities * Maintaining international transfer pricing documentation and overall transfer pricing activities * Assisting in researching international tax issues and documenting conclusions * Implementing international tax planning strategies * Responding to various inquiries and audit requests from the IRS and State Revenue Departments * Preparing & reviewing federal and state income tax returns for the corporation and subsidiaries * Overseeing compliance to FIN 48 requirements
Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 5 to 7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience * Masters degree in Tax and/or CPA preferred * Must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level * Advanced professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
