Job Description:





Under general supervision, prepares food items as ordered according to established procedures.





1.   Deliver internal and external guest service thePinnacle Wayby ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look Sharp, smile & greet the guest. Be friendly, polite & use courteous language. Provide especially timely & knowledgeable service;and then some!Always find solutions to guests’ problems. Use the guest’s name when appropriate. Thank the guest and invite him or her back.).


 


2.   Reads food orders from computer printouts, and prepares food items according to established menu plans.


 


3.  Prepares all food items maintaining high food quality and presentation.


 


4.  Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling or piercing them with utensils.


 


5.  Observes Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, proper steam table temperature, and cleanliness of work environment.


 


6.  Maintain par stock on fryline according to established procedures.


 


7.  Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.


 


8.  Uses and maintains all assigned areas and equipment in a sanitary, safe and effective manner.


 


9.  Coordinates and communicates on orders with dining room staff.



Job Requirements:





·        Must be at least 18 years of age.


·        Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of food items, to standard, in a high-volume, fast-paced operation.


·        Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the application of sanitation procedures.


 


These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 1-year experience directly related to the accountabilities specified.
