Job Description :
Oversee the establishment and administration of enterprise wide improvements plans and projects in MVP, LES, VA/VE and Quality across B-line by leveraging resources across the plants and support areas. Report to Quality / Continuous Improvement (CI) Managers and partner with other functional leaders to identify key business processes and ensure the improvement of those processes using MVP, LES, VA/VE and Quality tools for B-line. Develop, become proficient and provide training in these areas across all aspects of the business.
* Lead events focused on process improvements using six sigma and lean manufacturing techniques to drive waste elimination
* Develop, coordinate, and implement training programs relative to the MVP, LES, VA/VE and Quality. Become a key trainer of tools for B-line.
* Interface with all stakeholders across product lines / value streams to ensure their understanding of the VOC to better meet and exceed customer expectations.
* Work with plant leadership to identify the key business process from a transactional stand point. Identify & set targets for improvement in all transactional key business processes.
* Maintain all key business metrics for site that is tracked as part of the MVP, LES and VA/VE.
Job Requirements :
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree - Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering or other 4 year degree and/or equivalent experience with 3-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering * Knowledge and previous experience with total quality assurance systems, lean manufacturing principles and practices, ISO 9000, six sigma, Kaizen activities and related quality and continuous improvement programs and methods are required. * Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products, PowerPoint, and MiniTab. * ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred. * Strong process orientation, analytical and planning ability. * Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks on time and within a budget. * Ability to assess risk, to proactively capitalize on opportunities and challenges. * Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively build team consensus and influence others. * Excellent analytical, problem solving, project management and facilitation skills. * Exemplary leadership and communication skills to effectively lead, mentor and facilitate. * Self-starter, able to work with or lead cross-functional teams. * Strong time management skills that require little supervision. * Ability to identify and resolve production issues as necessary.
