Senior Vice President/Vice President Marketing Communications

We seek a dynamic, seasoned B2C executive who can manage global brand communications across a variety of industries including automotive, food, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, entertainment and travel, social commerce, retail and sporting goods. Fleishman-Hillard’s marketing communications teams use a blend of social and traditional media, word-of-mouth and grassroots events, SEO and digital marketing, and consumer insights to help our clients reach targeted audiences, communities and markets.

Experienced in integrated marketing, our ideal candidate can execute programs across traditional, social and owned media channels. Qualified candidates can create and manage programs, organize and direct teams, spearhead new business initiatives and respond to RFPs and RFIs, engage in national media relations and lead online campaigns.

Profile:
* An experienced communications professional engaged in client counseling, new business development and strategic program development.
* A proven communicator with strong and persuasive writing and oral presentation skills.
* Someone with a demonstrated flair for creativity.
* A multichannel communicator and integrator of media strategies across several channels, specifically earned, shared and owned.
* Skilled in creating communications initiatives that meet brand objectives along with increasing web traffic, boosting sales, producing a return on investment and demonstrating measurable consumer awareness.
* Proven leadership skills.
* A good listener, team player and counselor who can build strong relationships with agency clients, account staff, client relationship leaders and other senior managers in the firm.
* An active social networker who is an active consumer of emerging media.
* An inquisitive, continuous learner who identifies consumer trends and knows how to apply them effectively in business situations.
Responsibilities will include:
* Maintain direct client relationships and deliver outstanding service and results.
* Assume responsibility for managing campaign cycles – from planning and development to execution and measurement.
* Demonstrate strategic writing abilities, including plan development, creative briefs, research analyses, bylined articles, media and blogger relations, speaking abstracts, white papers, project summaries and client reports.
* Supervise the work of account team members by setting priorities, delegating responsibilities and maintaining deadlines.
* Manage project outcomes and materials, timelines and budgets.
* Prioritize and take initiative and ownership of ideas, programs and clients.
* Multitask and oversee several accounts and projects.
* Effectively motivate and mentor teams and clients.
Qualifications:

* Candidates must have a minimum of eight years of communications experience along with an agency background in integrated marketing, public relations, advertising or digital communications.
* Experience in participating in all phases of new business from ideation and program development to presentation and implementation.
* Experience executing integrated digital/traditional and, ideally, mobile campaigns.
* Superior client service skills, able to manage multiple clients and projects.
* Experienced in managing project financials, timelines and budgets.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collegial and collaborative environment.
* Committed to consistently meeting and exceeding the highest quality standards of client service.
