This Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) position has a unique opportunity to support the Rates Management organization within BT&E Finance. This position requires flexibility to changing environments and developing new processes. The prime responsibility will be to help build rate models using Regression modeling and analysis, Excel, Access, VISTA, CMART reporting, COGNOS, build PowerPoint presentations, with other tools & processes in support of the Labor Rating process. In addition, supporting base and expense Basis of Estimate analysis and the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) process is executed to meet requirements from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)/Division Administrative Contracting Officer (DACO). Brainstorming together in a team environment at different locations is a major aspect of this position. Being able to ask pertinent questions, dig for answers, analyze and compare data, review variance analysis and manage workload is a large component of working in the Rate Management group.
The organization is looking for a positive person who works well across Finance functions between EO&T (Engineering Operations & Technology) and BT&E, dedicated to team success. This position is challenging and opens to transfer as soon as possible, if selected. General expectations of a level three are as follows: Initiates analysis of financial statements and associated risks. Develops Estimates at Completion (EACs) and financial and/or resource forecasts. Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines and variance analyses. Defines and communicates cost and/or schedule trends and quantifies cost and/or schedule. Compiles data from multiple sources and develops reports to meet stringent reporting. Develops strategic plans and business cases using appropriate financial indices. Collects and documents requirements for training, processes and new tool development or enhancement. Works under general direction. Some overtime is required. Manager is located in Puget Sound.

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
Finance experience in developing labor rates, allocations, forecasts, estimates and variance analysis.
